Artist of the Month

November Artist of the Month – Koldo Barroso

The Homesick Willow ©2008 Koldo Barrosso

I really love the illustrations of Koldo Barrosso.  They are dark and whimsical, and they have a strange sort of comfort to them.  Here is another great quote from Koldo’s about page:

From that moment on, my dream has always been to make someone else feel the same magic that I experienced when I first had these books in my hands: a timeless feeling of entering into a strangely familiar parallel reality that I feel as my own, sitting in my bedroom in a Saturday evening, completely mesmerized while hearing the raindrops on my window…

On his website you can buy Koldo’s prints and original drawings, as well as hire him for your illustration needs.  Check out his blog and his website for more information.
