Yes, I have been somewhat neglectly this week on the blog, etc. But it was for good reason… I finished Teapot II! OK, it actually still needs a coat of wax, but that will happen tomorrow night. All the parts are done and together. Let me tell you, the final riveting was pretty complicated. But I love the way it turned out and now it just needs a name. This has to have been one of my more complicated looking pieces I’ve ever made. There were just so many parts that had to be fitted just right, but it all worked out in the end.
What do you think? Did my repeating elements work? What sort of name should I give it? I haven’t actually thought much about it in the rush to finish it.

“Sunrise Singer” – looks like a rooster crowing. Love it, Wendy.
It looks like a steam punk teapot robot who could have had a major role in “Hugo”…I love the different patinas! Is it all copper?
Betsy, it’s nickel and bronze with brass rivets.
