May 2012 Workshop at HACC

Saturday I taught another Fold Forming workshop at HACC in Harrisburg. Once again we had a lot of fun. It never fails to amaze me how four different folds can lead to so many variations. Every cuff by every student in every workshop has come out differently. These students were no exception. Take a gander at some of their samples and cuffs.

Amy Sue used a piece of brass inside the copper to create this two toned cuff.

Paige used a lot of line folds to get great textures in her pieces.

Lyn tried out a variety of different forms in her samples.

Josh displayed his samples chronologically so you can see the progression.

  1. Love,love,love it! One of Paige’s looks like lips. Do you know what gauge Josh used in his cuff? That’s a really cool fold with the dimple.

    • All of the samples were 24g copper and the bracelet blanks were 24g brass and 22g copper. So since that’s kind of confusing, Josh used 22g copper for the cuff ;^)
