Last night I wrote a blog post for today, but then I cam across this video through the Metalsmiths Unite group on Facebook and just had to share it with you. Now usually I sink my bowls (mostly because there is nickel involved ;^), but to get really intricate, tall forms like these you need to master the art of raising. You can watch this master, Greg Wilbur, talk about his process.
