New Earrings, Another Rivet Pendant, and a Potential Wall Piece

I’ve been busy in the studio this weekend (once I finally got my new materials) and here are a few pics of what I’ve been up to.  All the jewelry is waiting to be oxidized, so the stones aren’t set and the rivets haven’t happened yet either.

You can’t see it well in this photo, but the stone is the other half to the set I had that I used part of in Scale.  The stone is going to be held in place by riveting the brass top onto the backing. There is also a small wire to keep the bottom of the stone in place.  I’m excited about this and I hope it works!

There was also a pendant I had worked on using this same design idea, but it needs an overhaul.  The funky bezel I tried didn’t work and it seems that the cab I was using has a wonky back…

In other news…

Today is my birthday ;^)  and don’t forget that this Saturday I’ll be at Veleska Jewelry in Lancaster, PA from 11-3pm to celebrate American Craft Week.  Come on out and join in the fun!
